I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

Hahaha.

I can offer you a terracotta pot with high acidity soil, and a used polishing pad.

Morning guys.

Went and saw the new star wars last night. Actually left feeling a bit disappointed with it. As a movie it was great but personally felt a bit let down by certain elements of the story line....

Really? I've literally heard nothing but epic reviews. Can't wait to go see it though, but have to watch all 6 previous ones again first, might try and do that this weekend.

Don't get me wrong it's an awesome movie but I really can't say to much with giving away the plot.

Morning.

Any recommendations for striping old paint?

I wouldn't use paint stripper on aluminium as it may react, plus it has a tendency to soak into the metal. I would just dry sand it to scuff the surface and give the new paint something to stick to. I would also use a grey primer under and a clear coat over the base coat.

Are you removing the tyres?

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Nah will keep the tyres on for now, but will be replaced eventually.

I'm thinking just a nice heavy grit sandpaper, then a low grit sandpaper, then primer filler, then paint , then clear. I just wanna see what they look like silver on the car before I go all out.

120 at the heaviest. Then 400 to finish. I'd even use high fill primer.

I bought some cast iron ultra high heat paint for my headers and gloss black for my breaks :)

You may need an in between. But if youre like my you will just throw some sand at it and then just paint it with a water bomb.

A bit warm here.

Nah will keep the tyres on for now, but will be replaced eventually.

You could try just braking the outside bead so you can get around the rim. The inside bead will hold the tyre to keep it's balance.

I'm thinking just a nice heavy grit sandpaper, then a low grit sandpaper, then primer filler, then paint , then clear. I just wanna see what they look like silver on the car before I go all out.

That sounds all out.

Like Addaamm mentioned, 120 & 400 will be fine. If you use a filler, I would suggest sandwiching that between primer. (prime, fill, sand, prime, fine sand, paint)
