nah, mine is still at outback height, although i kinda like it, but lowering and other suspension will be on the cards when i return from holidays :yahoo:

As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;

I should just convert to single, right?

ISP Query:
My ISP just came out with some "fantastic new quotas" and they looked good, however when I went to change my plan the fine print said upload is counted toward monthly usage...... :negative:

This is something I am not used to.... and although their "fantastic new quotas" looked good, they end up being less valuable (to me) by increasing CAPs only to charge for upload.

ATM I get 60Gig/mth (split peak/offpeak, DL Only) for $60 and I'd upload around that much or close to it as often as I can. So if I included DL+UL I'm actually getting in excess of 120G/mth and their "fantastic new quotas" offer me 100Gig for $10 more per month...... Not so fantastic IMO.

How many people have upload counted toward their allowance?
Do you upload as much as you download (sharing etc...)???
Just curious...... anyone care to comment?

I'm with TPG. They offer two types of plans - ones that count uploads and ones that don't. I'm on a naked 2+ line with 100/100gig (on/off peak) for $79. Only downloads counted. They do some pretty decent plans if you don't mind changing ISP's.

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

I pay $100 dollars a month for 6GIG so I don't think you should be upset.

Umm, they didn't a long time ago.... but over the last few years it's becoming the norm....
I feel a little stingy if I keep taking stuff and never give anything back... I generally run about 150%, or upload 1.5 times what I download....

That sounds pretty good.... My inet is bundled with home phone (landline) and that is supposed to equate to a $10/mth discount.. I'll have to have a look at TPG - Thanks.

You probably have kick-ass speed Nik, I think most often it comes down to a compromise between speed and CAP - I only have ADSL 1 @ 1500/256 which equates to DL's @ around 150-160kbps, however, for putting up with the slow speed I get a fair bit of data. For me, I'd like to download a lot more slowly than download a little very fast..... does that make sense???

Hi Mate,

As you know from WP, I work at iiNet. A few people have expressed concerns over uploads being counted. For most it will have little impact. IIRC a user on WP has graphed traffic levels for several months (in and outbound) showing even with heavy usage only ~2.5% is upload traffic (I don't recall which ISP sub forum it was from), however this is a moot point if you specifically upload a lot.

You probably have kick-ass speed Nik

He does, for about 1 minute then the dongle overheats and it craps out :D

Are you actually getting 24mb however ? 24Mb will be the potential sync rate of your service and if you get that speed, can download at ~2.5MB/s. To get 24Mb you need to be quite close to the exchange or have a great phone line. If you get 1MB/sec download speed, you have at least 11Mb/s.

Stuff goes here

nah 24mbps is my plan, syncs at about 16 - relatively close to the exchange but old lines.
depends on the sources as to how fast and consistant my DL's are (obviously :P)

What about cutting a piece of sheet steel to the profile of the badge then welding two small threaded bolts to it. the bolts would poke through the hole in the grill and be fixed on with body washers and nyloc nuts.
The large holes in the grill would then allow for perfect alignment.

yea something like that would be sweet. will give it a go.

I was more talking about the badge on the front bar. Looked a bit spaz. But if you are going the OBK badge on the grille, I don't think you should have the Subaru badge.

Badge on bar is worse than spaz. Getting rid of it asap. Ran out of light tonight.
Dont think i can take the oval badge of without choppage? I like it there anyway...i like the blueness :)
Both can look cool IMO.

You'd think so, but no. NextG out here isn't anywhere near as fast and it is highly unstable due to the dongle being a piece of crap that tries to melt through the desk.
