Hi Mate,

As you know from WP, I work at iiNet. A few people have expressed concerns over uploads being counted. For most it will have little impact. IIRC a user on WP has graphed traffic levels for several months (in and outbound) showing even with heavy usage only ~2.5% is upload traffic (I don't recall which ISP sub forum it was from), however this is a moot point if you specifically upload a lot.

Yeah, I guess the minority will leave their machine on 24hrs/day simply to upload (like me), and they are the ones who will have to change their ways....
Are there specific logging programs for monitoring upload usage locally?? Or will I have to ask Wnet support if they can tell me how much I upload? Logging into my account only shows DL usage because that's all that's counted atm.....

Don't want it here, but to add, their idea of 'in the middle of the wine region' is way off. I don't think many tourists would ever find their way that far east. But yer, don't want it here, think of the excess truck traffic alone! We are a single lane highway down here that is already congested enough. They can bang on about Margaret River being made into an amazing tourist attraction for as long as they want to, but they have to remember that it is us, the tourism operators that achieve this. All the sheep/cattle/dairy farmers that turned to a life of vine built this area into a destination, not the government. They haven't even got the ponies to update our sign-age in the area so that terrorists can stop getting lost, some have to pay for their own signs and install them in the dead of night! What I'm getting at is that this community will decide if it goes ahead. If the community as a whole is against it; it won't be coming to Margaret River. I think an article FOR this would probably be pointing towards the project happening in east Jindong, though.

NSW = First state. Heterosexuality = First Sex. If we were to compare our country to the anatomy of the gastrointestinal tract, NSW, being the first state, would be the mouth (Think Salma Hayek's mouth. With her sexy accent). Consequently, WA would be the anus (with Haemarroids. And AIDS.) Seeing that WA is so far away from anywhere else in Australia, one would understand that it would be easier that way for WA to stay in the closet, with less prying eyes. I conclude, that WA is not only the asshole of the country, but it is also the Gay State. Therefore your argument is null and void.

Not that there's anything wrong with that, though? I love spending lazy Sundays just chatting with you. *contented sigh* Also your medical analogies to everything are getting a bit old. :D
