How did you find them to drive Nik? Bit funny in the steering department? Very very nice cars either way

The Toronado was as responsive if not better than a lot of modern cars I've driven. The thing was truly before its time. The Challenger (the cooler of the two I s'pose?) was decidedly wooden in the steering department. At the end I actually reversed them into the spot you can see them photographed in, which is in a shed with doors JUST wide enough to fit them in - was a bit tense, but the Toronado loved it, the Challenger was a blessing that I had the roof down for visibility as the steering on that car is quite vague.

Really liked the experience. Nothing like rolling around in a few hundred grand worth of cars.

:D

They look awesome Nik. Alotta fun to drive - hope you've added them to your list!

I got to drive the Sprite yesterday. Its a ...different experience! Brakes hardly work (need adjusting), no synchromesh between gears, tiny, 948cc, but SOO much fun!
Drove it up to the Hunter Valley and you can feel EVERY bump! haha!

Also filled my car up on Saturday morning and again today. Did 574 kms. 2 trips to the Hunter. $145ish dollars in 2 days!
Fereway economy though = 8.9L/100kms
:)

There is huge amounts of bitc... discussion on the merits of both on Perth-WRX atm. Lots of haters towards the 257. everyone wants to suck the balls of a 207 as one of the local tuners has ~500hp unopened 207. Mind you, he does have a gt30 @ 40psi to do that... then Tino chimes in with close enough to 600 hp 257 (very much opened)

But you know who sits there very quiet with a closed deck 2ltr stretched (sleeved etc etc.... etc etc etc etc) to a 2.5ltr.. Mr Oversteer and soon to be Mr Xeon with a similar build

207 seems to do booooooooost better if you're keeping it fairly stock, while the 257 just stacks on the Tq (as you would expect) with ease.

Do both. put a 207 and a 257 in your car, 207 in the front and 257 in the rear.
Run 50 PSI on both, remove Tyres and run on bare rims - Steel is harder to flex than rubber therefore it must give better traction and less sidwall flex - means you'll corner faster.
