hmm mine aren't too bad cold, better after a minute or two of driving but generally not too bad at all cold.

Yeah I has slotted rotors front and rear - rear don't dust too bad but the fronts are insane. Rims are smokey coloured most of the time LOL

paint your wheels charcoal.

mornin'.

Urgh my new brakes are shuddering pretty bad.

Saturday: took a trip with a mate and the kids down to Rob's in Geelong to pick up some Callipers... unleashed the wild things at the beach for a while then headded home and painted up the rotors and started on callipers.

Sunday, watched movies till lunch then started on callipers....
first went to clean them and all the black paint started coming off... ok then under that was red, so took 2 hours of cleaning to get all the paint off.
sprayed callipers with a few coats of black and they looked good.

had a mate come over and got the car up and started swapping rotors and callipers, about 2 hours later we were done.

first the pedal was a bit soft but now its fine, only thing is on my run to work, i gave it a bit of stick and when i hit the brakes i got fucking shakes to the max! FK FK FK the rotors were 2nd hand but freshly machined still plenty left in them, i re-used rob's old pads cause they were almost new.
I'm thinking the reason for the problem is us with our dirty hands might have got some on the rotor, you guys think it will burn off? i did clean them with brake cleaner but i couldnt reach the back of the rotor once it was on cause of the rear dust guard.

Sounds like your wheel bearings are forked.

That, or your callipers need more paint on one side. To balance them out.

My girlfriend would break up with me if I did that. I showed her the picture and she absolutely hated it.

LOL great colour, Walts is a lucky guy!

Yeah some of the best days are the ones with the lads. Sounds like a good one.

Had a 21st on the weekend. Was great, just held at the hosts backyard. They had this one awesome thing though - A pizza kitchen on wheels (trailer) pumping out non-stop woodfire pizzas and salads all night long. Absolutely terrific idea that. I'm going to buy it for my place 24/7 hahaha. Wish I had some pics...

Unless you're in a hurricane.

Or a fire.

Or you're a romanian gypsie that train hops between squats picking pockets for a living. Unless you find a man with beer in his pockets.

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.
