Mate over WA rang last night to see if I wanna go over to help him with a job for last 2-3 wks of Jan.

He's a roofer.... roofing in summer is the pits.

Never been to WA, is a good excuse... would prob be able to con him into a Nik visit.

He's a good bloke, we'll prob spend as much time at the pub as working.

Last roofing I did was last Dec.... the heat will fuck me.

My 21st was nearly 7 yrs ago.... it was crap! 1st son was due on my birthday (was born 1 week after).... Most people got more tanked than me.... Dad needed my help to walk to the car with 2 spew stops during the 20m.

Dad's finally seen the light with the STi, now I'm getting excited!! Pink springs, rear swaybar, ALK, Bump st/RR kits, strut braces, H/brace have all been or are being ordered, got some G/year GSD3's put on the other day... all that coupled with the eng rebuild (frgd pistons, rods, bearings etc), should make a farkin awesome car... just need to talk him into a custom tune now.

Oh and if anyone knows of any sets of (sti) wheels (114 pcd) let me know.

While I'm on tyres... the wheels I got for the Foz had G/year Eagle NCT-5's on em. Been very impressed by em. They hang on great, give plenty of feedback and are very progressive when breaking traction (haha, yes it is possible in the foz, just gotta try really hard). Wet or dry doesn't seem to make much difference either.

Hahaha, he was saying that he's felt let down by it so far because in his mind a STI should be as good as it could be out of the box. It just taken him this long to realise they did make comprimises on performance due to cost and sales.
