Nope!
The whole idea to it is that it is anonymous. People can specify a reason when they are doing it, so there is no reason why they can't leave their name on that if they choose to do so. Apart from that, not possible and not going to happen.

Eat seasonal fruit and vegetables? The world doesn't stop producing fruit and veg over winter.
The whole world didn't just die because it was winter. You just eat what is in season.
Exactly.
Winter is not VOD.
Nothing stopping you from eating seasonal stuff only. Enjoy you winter diet of potatoes, cabbage and lettuce. This is australia and like all countries that don't border an equator things do stop growing in winter. Fruit, nuts, seeds, grains, most veggies and even grass all stop growing. Animals don't breed so you can't rely on meat and the few veggies that do keep growing grow slower. What's our population upto now? About 25 million I would think, so that is alot of mouths to feed from slow growing crops of root vegetables - its hardly balanced too. Fact is there is a reason most animals migrate and its not for a seachange. Preserving food to last winter has been happening for as long as we have been battling bare knuckled for mating rights - technology has just allowed us to move beyond harvesting excess grain and hay, smoking meats and pickling veggies.
