While I was at it today, I was going to tighten up the air-conditioning belt because it's been squeaking for a while now.

Can you buy generic ones from supercheap etc?


What a little wanker, why didn't they make it out of metal??? I would have been happier snapping the belt.
Probably serves me right for not having a torque wrench...

Nar, it's alright mate. I can probably get one from the wreckers here. But they closed at 1 today and closed tomorrow.

I have pushed it down by hand and tightened it up and much as I could. That should be okay? Guru Jason?

I just wont use the A/C for a couple of days. Which it's out of action for anyway because of the missing radiator.

These ones are made out of bakelite.

Did you loosen the nuts and bolts properly in sequence?

I reckon you didn't, and that's why it broke.

If you did it correctly, it wouldn't have broken

I thought it was such a simple thing to do, so I didn't bother reading the manual.

I always seem to break stuff.
