The guy (probs about 40yo) upstairs at work has a GC8 Impreza GX and he was telling me how he reckons it’s as quick as any WRX and doesn’t know why people spend money on them when his GX is just as fast. I asked him how’s that exactly and he said he’s never been passed by one and that he took one off the lights once and beat one. One arvo we happened to leave at the same time and I proceeded to show him that a turbo subaru is faster than an N/A. Multiple times. The next day he conceded that WRX drivers must be less of hoons than he thought they were and that his car was slow and the rex drivers just must not have been trying. He went and bought a Stagea now lol

It's an understeering FWD car. I would take my subie over one any day of the week, I would also take a XR6T over one without a second thought.
