Yes they depreciate faster so cheaper. Faster - yes... even around corners an XR6 will still beat a new GT , Safer - I doubt it... also they have not long been 5 star rated... more reliable... I dunno hey - the 4L maybe? the rest of the car no.

Some old dude at work thinks his Toyota Aurion is the shit. Been saying it's better and faster than mine forever.
I just said "I'll take you for a drive and see what you think".

Comes back to the office saying "Mate, that's the fastest thing I've ever been in" etc etc. and "that's about 5 times faster than the Aurion"

Had to bite at that!!

Pretty sure the drivers themselves couldnt care less. The taxi company buys the cars because they are spacious and can easily be converted to gas - FG/VE models now come with gas out of the factory and if any car has 500,000kms with original guts it's doing very well...

tell him to show you a falconadore with a transmission that has done that many taxis have new trannys all the time. i should know i drive past a taxi repair place almost every day.. they have crates of transmissions stacked up lol
