speaking of sausages do you guys split them one you cook the outside? then cook the inside , they dont do that here in vic , but in nsw iv grown up doing it that way

A good sausage cook only cooks the outside. Splitting is cheating.

The occasional stab to de-juice it is ok but not a whole split.

I am a firm beleiver in cooking them whole, no stabbing/splitting - parents do that too, you end up with a nicer sausage that isn't dried out.
