Shaz: Without sounding like a deeck, but those prices aren't far from AU RRP.
There are a few parallel importers out there that'll blow those prices out of the water for the same product.
eg: Was inquiring about 225/45/17 KU36 for track rims (when I get there one day) and was quoted $190 fitted and balanced each. A wheel alignment could also be also negotiated rather easily with a twist of an arm.
And yeah, these were brand new spankers under a year old from the manufacturing date.
Gotta love competition.

Yeah fair enough man.
I got no idea, thats what he gave me. I'd imagine there would be some room to move?
Cheers,
Shazza
I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts, right off.

Means I'm already paying to use the roads with the first two vehicles while not causing any damage to the roads with the third...
Third being a vehicle that has no identification. Registration, while revenue is a major reason, serves as an identification system to link driver/rider and the vehicle together. So if in such case that rules are broken, there is a way of actually tracking and making that driver/rider feel the consequences. It's not always just about the bicycle being a lower impact vehicle, seen any bike paths being built recently?
I would suggest the cycle registration would be a much reduced price point for registration. Just like you pay more for a large truck, than you do for a motorcar. A nominal charge that increases that person/vehicle combinations rights on the road.
Also, I hope you understand my call for cyclists to need insurance? We have insurance companies now that specialise in policies tailored to the use of each vehicle. For example, if you ride your bike 40km everyday, for work, you would be calculated a sum based on the fact 100% of your public riding is at peak hour through built up areas. If, for example two, you are a female that rides her bike once a fortnight to give the dog a run - you would be looking at paying next to nothing, and probably just need the equivalent of third party.
I don't get in the way of motorists, stay in dedicated bike lanes and visably signal when necessary and getting excercise...
I'm a perfect driver, and at least once a week I am forced to manoeuvre in a manner that is uncomfortable due to a bicycle rider not using the road correctly/considerately.

So they would be Singapore tyres? Do you have any reservations on using them? I got paralleled Khumo's - and the bloke at the tyre shop (kind of a mate) was showing me how I bought them cheaper than he can, he even called Khumo and asked for a price match. Didn't go well, and he is a Khumo branded tyre centre!

We lost the game 5-1.

Did your goalie forget to show up?
Actually, I do remember one game in primary school, we beat a team 13-0.
I was goalie, I was sitting down for most of it. haha

Another member on here swears by the RT615's over the KU36's as he reckons the sidewall is too soft on the 36's ... huge price difference though.
Wish I was at Wakefield

Hi all,
Hope your weekend was good! Stayed up until 4:30AM on Sat night to catch the World Cup cricket. Very good match, not sure if any of you are that interested in cricket...
I got a weird feeling this morning about my old Lib. Like something bad happened to it. Reckon it'd be okay for me to call up the previous owner and see how the cars going? Or would that be too stalkerish?

Too weird? Maybe if I just go to its registered address (which I got) and park across the road, that'll be OK...That would indeed be ******* weird, Shiv.
See Walts, I'm learning!
But nah, just call him up and pretend like I'd buy the car back. That won't be too stalkerish. He called me many times after I sold the car to him for various small reasons (the infamous parking light switch being one of them).
