I'm going to buy a 4WD one day.

Maybe a small 2 door landcruiser.

Cheers,
Shazza

Who reckon this is a typo??

I looked into this one.

Its been inspected as a write off in victoria and the VIN and numberplate combination are invald for nsw.

Dont even see the point in trying to put different plates on it and flog it off :dash2:

btw scuba roo are those 18's

Sorry I couldn't spend more time with you today mate. Still actually clearing away, just kicked the last ones out!

:)

Back to it!

That Whisky Ale is still flat, eh? Just tried it. I'm being VERY cautious with it.

Its all good mate, I understand. That was a mad crowd! Never seen so many people in there! It was constant. Grub was good :D

Flat, yeah I guess.. "Very low carbonation".... hehe. How long has it been on gas for ?

Aroma - Wine and whiskey, small amount of chocolate/malt
...Taste - Very malty sweet (I think it still has some fermenting to do ???) but not heavy feeling, little bit of bitterness (I think more bittering hops on the first addition next time... i think :D). Wine aroma kicks in around the middle and ends with a slight chocolate-y bitterness. Aftertaste is the hops and whiskey (just)

To be critical of it, seems a little thin and needs more % (I think it topped out low 7's in the end yeah ? thats what it felt like). No smoke aroma (different barrels ?? or more time in it needed ??). The nelson is a little over the top, maybe a little less next time on the last addition. More chocolate malt needed :D or a bit of extra carafa. (says that man who has assisted with a whole 2 brews)

Oh, and mmmmm raspberry liquor  :drinks: :walts:

Stuff goes here

Lol nice write up richo.... I helped with one of those (not the first hahhaha) so it will end up turning out amazing just because I was there :P

On my way to work before I was driving down parramatta road, no traffic, other side of the road were highway patrol in a new supercharged V8 falcon, no idea how fast they hadthat thing but they were using all three lanes and I could still hear the thing revving it's **** off and the supercharger whine. Actually sounded pretty decent. They were doing well north of 100 though.

It's finished ferment, but will continue to balance over the coming weeks in barrel. There's still 100L+ in there.

It is a touch thin, the nitrogen gas that will come next will sort that out though, give it a stronger mouth feel.

Smoke would only come from a much newer barrel, or a barrel used to house peated whiskies, this is a non peated barrel.

As for the alcohol, considering the amount of residual sugar in there, I am trying to find out about repitching with some more high grav. yeast - it won't change the flavour at all as far as I can tell.

Your wheels look freakin' sweet!
