True, could even get some rear wheel drift action too :D

Fo Shiz.

I just figure it's a different recipe to the evo and WRX which are basically small capacity Turbo AWD compared to a light-in-the-rear RWD large capacity V8... be pretty interesting to drive offroad :D

Though I think any combination would be a hell of a lot of fun!

EVO + a V8. ***** you want to drive a Subaru for? You ******* own one.

This also!

Newest EVO you can get into, and beastiest V8 there is.

I'm not wrong on this.

Once again I have to agree fully 100000000000% :P

Though I would probably try and avoid the Evo10 cos it's a heavy bucket in comparison to the previous model.

One off cos it looks like sheet, just like the SVX.

Even this is poo, the wheels of course are ok.
The 80's was a fail for most car designs and concepts.

Nope, nah I'm being a bit rough, but I just despise some of the concepts of that era, it was a time when they were trying to find the new look following the design high they reached in the 60's/70's amongst muscle/super cars. You're well read on your Euro super cars Nik, I've never really gotten into it, but I can't find anything nice about that Lambo

The 80's one is nothing special but I think it is kind of cool. The 60's model is forking hawt!

Whilst I agree on the pure styling front, I think you might be making some omissions in your mind that you're not aware of. The 80's saw the F40 and the RSR959 (Porsche).

Lamborghini were essentially broke for the entire 80's, very late on in the decade they were taken on by Chrysler - but I don't think that was until 88/89? So their offerings across the board were a bit strange, they were owned by a Swedish or Swiss party - I think it was Swiss - who insisted on becoming more and more ridiculous. The culmination on that craziness being the 25th Anniversary Countach - which had like 500HP!

I was born in 1985, so the car has some extra feeling for me;

The LP-670SV - whilst being an amazing car, just hasn't had the same incredible outlandish celebrity status that the F40, the Countach and the 959 had in the 80's. Maybe the internet really is desensitising people to these cars? 600hp, 3 odd seconds to 100km/h - and? Nothing shocks us like a 3.7 second Porsche would have in 1987.

Maybe I'm just getting old? I see the Veyron as being the defining automotive 'moment' from the 2000's - and for the 90's - I'd find it hard to look past the XK220? For the 80's though, I can't really see a clear cut winner. The f40 is pretty hard to ignore though...

Yeah it was more the conceptual path that I was referring to, the 'future' designs they were putting out were farking abysmal, and most car companies released some sort of half-cooked fetus looking car, over using the idea of sharp, straight lines and glass.

GM were the biggest offenders.

Lambo being broke sounds like a good explanation of their lego cars.

I agree on the Veyron, the XJ220 and the F40.

For a V6 that Jag was unbelievable. Also, I like the Ford transit with the XJ220 running gear, that's cool.
