Painfully obvious design flaws in this case.I was conceived in the 80s.

Agreed, internet just makes people go meh to a picture, but in the flesh they're insane, the engine sound alone of a lambo is enough. The LP-670SV - whilst being an amazing car, just hasn't had the same incredible outlandish celebrity status that the F40, the Countach and the 959 had in the 80's. Maybe the internet really is desensitising people to these cars? 600hp, 3 odd seconds to 100km/h - and? Nothing shocks us like a 3.7 second Porsche would have in 1987.
Maybe I'm just getting old? I see the Veyron as being the defining automotive 'moment' from the 2000's - and for the 90's - I'd find it hard to look past the XK220? For the 80's though, I can't really see a clear cut winner. The f40 is pretty hard to ignore though...
XK220 does sum up the curves of the 90's super cars, for sure Ferrari owned the 80's, Porsche have had the same design forever so they don't win shi7 for the 80's, but the e30 M3 comes from that decade, the first M3.
