Ford has announced plans to offer a new version of their legendary Cobra Jet turn-key racer.

Based on the 2010 model, the 2012 Cobra Jet features a new 5.4-liter V8 engine with a 2.3-liter TVS supercharger or an optional 4.0-liter Whipple supercharger. Other updates include Manley H-beam connecting rods, Strange Engineering brakes, a double keyed crankshaft snout, and black anodized wheels with Goodyear tires.

According to George Goddu, Business Manager for Ford Racing, "With every Cobra Jet build we strive to carry the spirit of the original Cobra Jet while developing the next generation of drag racing icon. The enthusiast who races the 2012 Cobra Jet can be competitive at virtually any event, from their local track up through NHRA Stock or Super Stock classes."

Production will be limited to 50 units and pricing starts at $91,900.

Yeah the B4 bbs's.

Umm - 2 of them are probably half worn, the other two are pretty close to dead. Few scratches, not many (previous owner).

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

Will those BBS fit a Honda perchance ALex? I know they're 5 x 100, but I'm pretty sure I could zip tie them on with the help of some super glue. Also do they have room for LEDs and NEONs? And will they clear 1 pots?

It will do all of them AND will make your car worth more.

(no, literally - these are more expensive than your car)

Alex, have you even read this thread? It was decided about 2 pages back that the Honda Civic is a super car, Steve-O even endorsed it with the thumbs up.

Therefore a Supercar is worth more than your BBC wheels.
