Now someone answer my question:

Any one have specs of the stock Mcintosh amp in the B4??

Could it run a normal sized sub in the boot (eg. just swap the wires from the stock sub to an aftermarket one)

Or could the amp be replaced with an aftermarket one using the stock power cables and speaker cables?

(i really couldnt be stuffed running a power cable from the battery or going to much effort)

Funny I been looking at that one too.. but it's not sydney.., it's an AU bank account to trsfr too but the shop is in Kowloon HK.

I did that with a Kenwood 12... rubbish,

I amped the amped wiring LOL and it was awesome! as in I used the sub cables as inputs to another amp, and then ran the 12.. Will still has it going to this day I believe.

It claims... "Item will be posted from our warehouse in Australia."

It says the headquarters are in HK but they have a branch down here.

*shrugs*

Did you just replace the amp and sub but use the existing wiring? Easy?

Cool... Couldn't quite tell. Does it have a fake grain through it or is it just a flat gloss? If so, i'll probably go for it. Or do you reckon the silver would look better?
