Ok. So i've just installed a GFB hybrid BOV and just taken the car for a spin. I've got it set on 50/50 at the moment....and...and i'm getting pretty much completely flutter, no ptshhh sound at all. Is this bad? Why am I under the impression that flutter is bad? I haven't pushed the car yet in case something goes pop. Am i worrying about nothing?

Talking of Cameras, i Just upgraded from my SonyE 8MP Phone Camera to something semi Decent,Sony H50 Thoughts? i only paid $400 and i had been looking at getting it for some time, money would not permit a DSLR but i think this should be ok. all you camera guru's let me know how much of a waste this was lol.

The BOV won't vent if it's connected to a wrong vacuum line lad.. Check the line you are using has boost / vacuum.. I used the same line that I had the boost gauge on. I have the same BOV (Had), and also, depending on how tight you have it set.. if it's tight as, it won't create wnough boost pressure to release it and will only go off at like 5500rpm, unless its a twin turb setup with the secondary BOV, then it won't go off at all.

Yeah of course! I'm supposed to prime BOV with fuel before starting the car, right? Numbnuts.

All the hoses got connected back to all the same hoses, so i'd have to assume so and my boost gauge is showing all the right numbers at all the right times...

Might try loosening off the spring, see if that helps.

your boost show's Vacuum and boost yeah?.. not just boost? if so, it's the right line, just loosen the spring pressure.. and forget the plumb back, it's a waste of time, I went full atmo, and never looked back.

Yep sits about 20-21 in vacuum on idle like it always has and moves when it should. Yup will back off the spring a tad. Set on 50/50 is louder than I expected, so i'm happy with that for now
