I jailbroke mine within a week of buying it.. Could do some pretty cool things, but I did it mainly for mms.. Which is now standard on 3.0, the phone runs really slow when on jailbreak. As far as I know 3.0 isn't properly jailbroken yet.. Www.quickpwn.com - all your jailbreak needs.

anyone know much about HDMI to DVI-D adapter cables? i got a sony dvd player today and wanted the connect it to my LCD screen which only has a VGA and DVI-D input, i told the guy at JB my monitor is only 1280x720 and he said it'll work fine. the dvd player automatically sets itself to 1920x1080 so i plugged the dvd player into faimly tv with a AV cable and lowered the resolution to 1280x720 but still the screen comes up black, even tried 720x480 still comes up black, like the resolution is too much for the screen. anyone got any ideas? i think i'll take the HDMI to DVI-D cable back tomorrow and see if they can test it or something

The DVD player will most likely store different resolutions depending on the port you plug it in, so plugging in using a boring RCA cable and changing resolution that way won't necessarily change your HDMI res. I've used a HDMI->DVI-D cable for years on a little media box and its worked fine on my telly. Other than a faulty cable - or finding a higher res tv to plug it into to downgrade the resolution, not sure.
