HAHA!
i had a mate who had an s13, he used to put a hose up his exhaust start the car then turn the tap on, he reckons it sounded deeper. i really have no idea where he got that idea from,

why would you care about making it sound deeper for 5 mins.. it would just flush out/evaporate......

Gurgling Under Hood
Put a new radiator in my gen II 95 gx wagon about 6 months ago, and ever since ive had a gurgling sound coming from under the hood. Ive been told i can fix this but i want to no exactly what the problem is and exactly how to fix it.
Please help....

Put a new radiator in my gen II 95 gx wagon about 6 months ago, and ever since ive had a gurgling sound coming from under the hood. Ive been told i can fix this but i want to no exactly what the problem is and exactly how to fix it.
Please help....

Yes, yes... I've reposnded to a few of these n00bs. That site is just amazing for attracting some stoopid muthers. My response to this one was:
It's a gollum like creature that comes with any new radiator. HE helps to keep the water in the system clean by gargling it, just as you would with Listerine or some other such minty mouth freshener.
The noise you can hear is when he's hard at work, purifying a particularly dirty patch of aidz that is running through your system.
