What is AWD even helpful for? (apart from the off-road rally stuff)
Bogging down off the line? Understeer?
dunno ask lamborghini, porsche, bugatti, nissan, audi none of these are designed for off rd rally but they all use awd.

Went to a meeting lastnight about new laws of lowering/lifting of cars. was surprised the amount of people that showed up
so if ya car's already lowered when the laws come in what happens?

Im pretty damn sure there awd's are better sorted than the good old suby awd, btw is the power spilt on the manual B4 50/50, and can u measure this on an awd dyno??

"During straight line driving the torque split is 50/50... at the road however is also dependent on load distribution and tyre grip resulting in static ratio 60/40"- thats from B4 technical description.

well if it isn't lower then the 50mm no worries, if is lower then you'll need to get it engineered, if its already engineered you have nothing to worry about.so if ya car's already lowered when the laws come in what happens?
for bagged cars, cut chassis, and notching, if you have it engineered before august 1 your all sweet.
after augest 1 cut chassis, and notching will be banned. For air-bagged cars the front and rear must come up and down at the same level, and a few other things but i wasn't really paying attention by this stage. hahaha
most of it will just affect mini trucks or whatever they call themselves.
a point mentioned they weren't happy with was they only had 14days to get their cars engineered, which was "ludacris" if i remember correctly
