A bent selector fork in a subi is as common as a fat bloke getting sweaty in summer while in a bakery. Have a chat to go fast bits, they sell strengthened ones

For reals your car has full 3" turbo back exhaust? (reading your sig) Still sounds nice, but mine sounds heaps deeper grumble than that...maybe it's cos you were full throttle or not facing the camera or something... EDIT: This came up as a related video. B4 rwd drifu anyone?

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

Dual range box, probably not ideal. You'll need a 4.11 final drive ratio gearbox I believe.

I think Brendan may have had his gearbox rebuilt somewhere in SA??? Might be worth PM'ing him (XXB4XX).

I can't be f**ked looking at the eBAy link, but im the expert at b4 box's, 1700 is dead cheap! If they are a trustworthy mob, then pay the money, 2nd gear replacement is 1600 alone. Forrester dual range with the same ratio along with 4 bolt older Rex box's will fit, the foz dual range will go on but it will never be the same, and will die... As it's only the non turb foz box's that match ratios. Older 4 bolt Rex box's will need the starter bolt modified to fit but you never know how good a Rex box will ever be! Basically, to sum this up... PAY THE MONEY AND GET THE B4 BOX FIXED. Poor man always pays twice. Oh, and not really any other subi box has parts to fit the b4 box properly either as the ratios as so weird in 1st and 2nd. Edit: I just checked the link, those guys at subiparts in SA are a AWESOME bunch of blokes, they should be able to get you a b4 box from japan for about 2000.. they helped me out heaps with honest advice.

perfect example of how to NOT drive... dude no offence but thats just plain stupid driving!

rebuild the box, that way you know its actually going to get fixed not buying some unknown box that could break the next day!!!
