good to know the tray fits, did you have to cut much?

Not as much as i thought. Still a bit close where the RH pipe turns across the front of the sump.
If it starts to melt I'll shield it with some aluminium sheet. :D

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

If anyone is into the World Rally Championship (WRC), I just stumbled upon this page:
WRCtorrents.com
If you're into Rally and are familiar with torrenting, check it out.

"Rally Australia
After two years away from the WRC in 2007 and 2008, Rally Australia returns in 2009 with an all-new event.
Previously run from the city of Perth, the rally's new base is 4000km away on the east coast in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales (NSW), with the majority of competition taking place in the Tweed and Kyogle Shires. Rally headquarters will be the Salt Resort complex in the town of Kingscliff, while the service park will be constructed on the beach nearby.
Gone are the red earth and ball-bearing like gravel roads of the old event. Instead, competitors will face a brand new an unfamiliar challenge. The route includes high speed hard packed gravel stages located in the Kyogle, Murwillumbah and Mullumbimby areas."

Id be interested to hear how the Ferodo pads go. Wondering what they will do to the discs.
Id like B4 or Foz (same caliper, yes???) on the GenIII but it was interesting whats been said about the B4 brakes and the ABS kicking in all the time. Are they really THAT good?? Wont be for a while as Ive just done F and R pads, disc machine and a fluid flush.
One thing Ive noticed with the slotted rotors is that when you grind them to near minimum thickness the slots disappear!

Got the splash tray on! Thanks

I've been using Mintex pads on my B4 and they are pretty good even under heavy braking(most of time with me) and they are fairly low dust .
Gonna need new rear discs soon, there is a lip on them that you could trip over..Posted Image

Hmmm... but without an actual motor, it will just be a passive fan which would actually add a small amount of restriction to the exhaust flow... the only time it might ACTUALLY scavenge some exhaust gasses out would be immediately after backoff from a high-revving squirt - i.e. the prop would be spinning it's head off and then when you back off it might suck a little bit out while it spins down...

Seriously... who would ever think of doing something like that though??? :dash2:

Lol nah I realise you weren't serious! I was more just musing over the fact that someone would actually think to mount a propeller in the exhaust like that...

To be honest, I prefer your gen1 Cam. I'd like your gen2 more if it had those WRX rims on it your trying to sell ;) Hows she compare to the gen1?

Yeah you should chuck on those WRX wheels of yours. They look good on the wagons. Wonder what theyd look like on the sedan. EDIT: Shiv, there is no comparison :P.

Previous: 97 Gen 2 Liberty wagon, 89 NA MX5, 88 Toyota Cresta. Current: 04 turbo MX5, 02 Foz GT.
