We have reverse-speed bumps. Pot-holes galore. Those big dippy down then up bastards too. No idea what it was, but something on my car bottomed out a number of times. Not fun @ 120k/h'ish....

Our roads are much better than those on the East coast. Our shite roads are their good roads :/

Now i realise I've lived in Newcastle for well.... ever, so ways of doing things might seem a bit different... At a cafe enjoying a milkshake an donut.... The waiter brings out a fork and spoon for the donut? WTF??? Certainly a bit differnt to the chuck em in a paper bag service you get a donut king! Is it even normal to eat a donut with a spoon and fork? Or should I have asked for a knife?

I think a knife might be considered a bit brash to be used in a cutlery application on a baked good. How uncouth of you to suggest. Was the doughnut nice? I like doughnuts. We don't have any krispy kreme or similar over here. I used to love Puffin Fresh. The good sized yeast doughnuts are my vice. Fuck I'm hungry for one now. ----- Alex, you'll be pleased to know I have filled our inverse speed bumps on my driveway. Basically, I've just waited until enough tourists in small buzz box hire cars have fallen into said potholes, couldn't get out, now we just drive over the top. Crude, but effective.

Out of curiosity what pads are you using Ty and do you have slotted rotors?
$15 a rotor sounds like a ripper price.
Brakes plus or Kmart...........some choice you have!!

I am running Genuine Subaru pads at the rear now and Fedoro on the front (all i could get when i was going to do it all myself.. not slotted though, the gen1 has slotted but not the gen2, once the pads are gone on the front again i will be changing to 294mm 2pots from b4 or XT foz with slotted DBA 4000's, been quoted $350 for the front pair of 4000's
it's good to have brakes again also!

whenever i would brake hard i would hear a grinding sound and the pedal would go like a rock, now its got a nice smooth feel and alot more control. on the pressure.

oh and my abs almost never kicks in! i have had it happen only 2x.. once up in mildura on a dirt road and once on a grass oval

HSC is TER here. Not doing a TER because I'm going for TAFE next year. At the moment ive only got 3 subjects plus TAFE part time. Too easy :P. Just that i havn't done any homework in 3 weeks and now ive got some.... Cant wait for the year to be over so i can earn some money and get these bloody dents out the wagon and sell it!

Id be interested to hear how the Ferodo pads go. Wondering what they will do to the discs.
Id like B4 or Foz (same caliper, yes???) on the GenIII but it was interesting whats been said about the B4 brakes and the ABS kicking in all the time. Are they really THAT good?? Wont be for a while as Ive just done F and R pads, disc machine and a fluid flush.
One thing Ive noticed with the slotted rotors is that when you grind them to near minimum thickness the slots disappear!

Got the splash tray on! Thanks

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Well according to the guy that did the brakes... the rotors will be stuffed when it comes time to replace the pads on the front (not that it bothers me much as i want to upgrade) so i gather they must be a hard pad. i will let you know after they are bedded in properly how they feel. good to know the tray fits, did you have to cut much?
