Great car in the day aek. Looks like a seca, is it?

Alex,
A TURBO ST141, well I never! Oz obviously got shafted with the choice of models.

Im with you on the 22R vs 2S debate. Used to do HiLux's with the 22R-C, too much smog gear on the carby so never used to run right when they got old.

As for the slushboxes, dont they drive on the front wheels under no load and send torque to the rear when engine torque output rises? From memory don't they have a clutch pack on the rear output controlled by the PCM?
A fuse overrides this.

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

sure is mate. AE92 Seca CSI Limited 4A-FC. When i first got it i was considering upgrading it to a 4A-GE black top or something more foolish like getting a Caldina 3S-GTE halfcut...then my better judgement kicked in. I think the carby needs some attention so i'll check that out and depending on the condition either give it a service or replace it and leave it at that. Until i get bored :)

Was out polishing the car just before in some puurrfect Adelaide weather. No wind and 23degrees atm. I would put picks up of the end result but it would just put shame to Walt's effort earlier in the week. :sarcastic:

Ohhh yeah, finally a proper Subie cruise. Just looking through some other subie forums- I reckon this one will be HUGE. The camera is on charge ready to go... I will however be severely hungover from birthday drinks the night before, so no garuntees on the quality of shots!!

Also, LOL that Awex's extensive medical training wouldn't have stood him in a position to make an assessment on his own physical condition. Also, that was the first time in documented history that I actually used the 'LOL' thing. Shit. Slippery slope now. I might be on some kind of text based helicopter before you know it.

Thanks guys.

Just woke up from a nap. Which is good. I'm averaging about 4 hours sleep a night since tuesday night.

The pain isn't too bad as long as I don't move around. The blisters are on my shoulders and on the nape of my neck.

I've decided to not go to work, as I have to wear scrubs. They're rather harsh polyester fabric in its construction, and cause insane irritation.

Would be absolute death if I was scrubbed in surgery, only to want to rub my arms or shoulders, only to contaminate myself and having to re-scrub.

Surgeons would crack massive wobblies too.

Sometimes I have to wear "lead apron" under my scrubs, if we're using X-Ray. The weight of a 10kq lead apron would burst the blisters on my shoulders. And cause immense pain.

I also had some blood on my arm, where I had rubbed it in my sleep. The itch is starting to take a hold.

Good news in that shit's starting to heal.

Bad news is that it's only going to get worse.

Still tossing up if I should go to work tomorrow or not. Yes. Saturday.

See how I feel.

I bet you look hilariously hideous right now Awex.

Pics??

But seriously, any type of burn injury is bad news.
Sorry to hear it's so bad Alex, I dont think I've heard of worse.

Itchy skin sux. Sux big time. Really sux. Sux even more when you scratch till it bleeds. Sux because then it hurts and itches at the same time. Sux because it itches even more when it heals. Sux again because its still itching from the first time.

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?
