No worries Nik buddy I'll implement that tomorrow (well today). I am going to sleep gents. Enjoy your evening. Oh, and Nik - don't worry about the fist thing, that was just an instructional comment aimed at Alex for when he gets bored a bit later (and curious).

Morning lads. http://www.smh.com.a...91030-hptp.html Fucking media rodents. 10% Buffer is good. I don't see the issue. Speed is not proportional to people having accidents. Well, not on motorways.

Good morning Mr Alex... I don't know if it's still the case, but ADR's used to be that the speedo in a car only had to be within 10% of the speed travelling, hence the 10% rule. Personally I think it's ridiculous... until they get unsafe cars off the road and we increase the average driving skill nothing is going to stop the road toll. Also crap tyres should never be sold and should be illegal.... why should anyone be in danger because some tight arse doesn't want to pay for decent tyres.

All the tyres sold have to meet a minimum criteria. So that whinge is a total load of bullshit. People don't need to buy semi slicks to be safe. Just let the retards die. Maybe we'll be left with a generation of inteligent individuals.... after the others perish.

is it really that much of a deal? Most people wont ever worry the worst tyres. I mean hell, they're going to be better then the ply tyres, and people managed with them. Fix the f*ck whits behind the wheel, then worry about tyres.

So what your saying is that a $60 korean tyre is just as safe as a $200 Australia tyre... GTFO!! They may have to meet a minimum std but obviously that std is far too low and as such some tyres that are sold in australia are shit and therefore dangerous...

Most people wont ever worry the worst tyres.

I think they should make stopping slow illegal. After all, you know the old saying, its not the speed that kills you - its the fine you get in the post 2 months later... wait, what?

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

What, so you're saying the average joe who commutes back and forth to work each day, averaging about 5km/h is going to stress his tyres? Its more probable that he'll spill his coffee in his lap and crash or spend to much time brushing his farken teeth, then it his tyres are going to cause and accident. Korean tyres cost less, because the pay the shmuch 45c a day. It has no bearing on the quality. You lot just seem to think that cost = value. "I paid a fortune so it must be good". Nice logic jack-ass...
