I'd be seeking compensation by way of a loan/hire vehicle at no expense to yourself. This is not a normal operations delay, it is an error they've admitted to. Mistakes do happen, they happen everyday, but it is how they deal with you know that it's become apparent that is important. Don't write them off yet, but get up their ass for satisfaction. I struggle to comprehend how the hell they could've sprayed it the wrong colour. Either they use the colour code or they match the paint.

Just out of curiocity - what is being done, and why? I think I recall you being involved in a ding of some sort but I'm not sure??

I sympathise with you for I've dealt with a heap of spray painters and 95% of them know fuck all about customer service. Fair enough they make a mistake but the least they can do is remedy the situation fairly and acceptably.

I agree with Nik's sentiments - you should be seeking compensation in the form of a loan car (if you need one) OR something else such as a discount, although it is unlikely.

Typical American 'grilling' - throw seven hundred and six different spices and wacked out sugary ingredients onto a big piece of meat and completely ruin it. Maybe if you're cooking crap meat from dodgy shops or something, but for real, steak isn't a roast. Steak is steak. Steak should be seasoned with pepper and salt, the only other thing on the plate should be a very thin slice of lemon. Sauces and sides should be on the side - preferably in separate dishes. If you're marinating a leg or some shit, sure, go all out with the wacky combo's - probably taste great (sans coffee...wtf - add lager to coffee? Why not start out with stout... spanker) but please - not on a juicy tbone.
