A few months ago when we were looking at venues, we drove into one of the winerys and there was a late 50s/early 60s Cadillac sitting there. I got talking to the owner and he has a few of them that he and his wife own and use for weddings/wine tours/any special event you want a big american classic for!! I had actually come across his website a week before this! They are beautiful cars (he was in the limo and we drove a few k's to see his wife who was driving some ladys around on a wine tour in the convertible) but unfortunately they are already booked on our date and the missus is not too keen on them!
Keeping my eyes out though - for something 50's Jag style.

I am liking my cars new found power, just wish I could find the source of this annoying metallic grinding sound... not as deep as a wheel bearing, its higher pitched ... similar to the sound of a backing plate hiting the rotor while moving... cept its not that I have already checked...
Is it when you turn one way mate? I had that issue.

Ha, funny we went past Margan just last weekend. That whole area around Pokoblin(?) is just beautiful. We ended up having lunch at some place starting with a "T"...very nice, and utterly relaxing sitting out enjoying a beer.Haha ill have to study the 'Beer Thread' before choosing drinks ey! Nah, having the reception at a Winery in the Hunter Valley (www.margan.com.au) and we'll put a tab on that.

I'm the sort of person who would be incapable of selecting just one type of wedding car. I'd end up with a fleet of everything from American to European and it would cost more than the wedding itself. 50's Jag sounds just fiiine

Cam - why are you wanting to get rid of your seats, BTW?
Driving with seats is overated, i sit on the floor.

Let me guess - you've got the blue leather in yours?Driving with seats is overated, i sit on the floor.
I do like the RX seats (with or without seats). They're a good basic seat but I've been getting back pains after sustained driving. Either the seats are shit, or my back is crook. I'm thinking the later...
