24 hour time is too Asian and over rated. Might as well call it rice time.. Thailand loved 24 hour time...... Dorks.

I do, but I've found less and less people want to talk to me, and hardly anyone meets me at the pub. Perhaps I am defining a time in a far too advanced manner for the average person I interact with to comprehend. I think as a friendly twist on this, as I say "I will meet you at oh six hundred hours", I will enthusiastically, and borderline aggressively, throw one arm straight in the air, and the other straight towards the ground mimicking a clock face. I can only assume that this offer of visual explanation accompanying my invitation for drinks at a certain time will be accepted in good faith, and perhaps I will stop being called a 'dick'. ? Then again, maybe noone wants to go to the pub at 6 in the morning.

I think you should buy a monocle, slide it down your nose and say "or thats 7pm for you commoners" then pat your lap poodle, sip your expensive scotch, slap your frigid well-strapped wife's bottom and order a black gentleman to fetch you some cucumber sandwiches.

People love that shit. They'll queue for days to meet you for a drink.

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

I was heard to remark today that I love backpacker season because it's like having a new wave of slaves through each year. Although they seemed concerned, I explained in another of my performing arts style flair that sex with hot young German women is all a part of the custom in Margaret River - and to deny this of the boss would be not only disrespectful, but also cost them their job. All whilst eating a cucumber sandwich.

Oh those crazy German women are impressionable, are they not! *posh belly laugh with little finger in air* When do you get them down there? (there = your place, not south of your belly button...)

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

Righto. Been banging on about getting a wagon for a while now. I do believe that I've made a decision as to what I'm going to get.

I couldn't bring myself to get a Commonhore, they just aren't that great.
A big 4x4 is totally impractical.

I want to get something that's nice, economical, new-ish...

GenV Outback Premium Diesel. BooYah :yahoo:

Diesel FTW.
Sounds good Chris. Im also jealous.
I thought you wanted something a little cheaper??????

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Yes, I did want to get something cheaper, but I figure that if I'm going to have a car for arounf 4 years or more, then I might as well get something that it going to entertain most or all of my requirements for that time.

Requirements are:
Wagon, roomy, comfortable, economical, some more power than what I currently have, some gadets like Sat Nav/blueteeth,ipod (which I would have transferred from the RX into any new car that I got).

Outback covers all of that stuff nicely.

If I hand the car back ofter 4 years or so, I can then trade up to a newer model, all while keeping the monthly cost lower. As well as that I can claim a percentage of it back on tax.

Just gotta save up a bit more moola and look into it more closely in the new year.

Duh, Summer doesn't start until December 1.

Annoyed. My gf is in NZ and called a moment ago to advise that she just went bungee jumping and is about to go on a jet boat.
Don't like her anymore.

Alex mate, it's already 25 here, so your internal temp gauge might be screwy? Also, don't forget that she is in New Zealand. I wouldn't be getting too jealous.

Old man is on his way there today. It's currently 27 in Perth, that's a bit spicy for 11am for mine. Might be an indoor day for me today.

I washed my car yesterday and mowed the lawn last weekend, that's pretty much the majority of my outdoor activities done.

Hmm, surely I can find something to watch in the 4tb of shit on my server.
