Hahaha.. Yep sure is. Was a good car that one, cornered like a demon.
This was it just before I bought it from a yard in Sth Melbourne:


There's the STI and the GTI, STI had 2.2ltr mechanical Bosch K-Jet fuel injection. GTI had electronic fuel injection, sunroof and velour trim - very luxurious and sporty for the 80's.

The only way to acquire a poogeot.

OK. Old pugs I respect Chris but I agree, the new ones are AIDS.

Yep, the good old 205 GTI, one of the original hot hatches. The old man had a limited edition one of those a british racing green 205 GTI Classic.. One of 20 in the world. It flew.

The old Pugs crapped on everything that was Australian made, Jap made and Euro made! Look up the Redex trials and the success they had in the rally circuit.

I come from a family of Peugeots. 404, then a 505 each for mum and dad (dads was a n/a diesel and the slowest car EVER), 406 (crap) and now a 308. Can't beat a 505 for ride quality and comfort. Hated working on them. The French should stick to making wine, not cars. (edit): Just read your post B4TT!
