My brake fluid was smelling after the first "harder" braking session, Is that normal?

Tom I think you'll find it was not the fluid but the brakes themselves, 'cause they're new.

Normal.

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Haha thanks. When i parked there was another car on that side which made it impossible for me to do a better job. I usually take pride in my excellent parking. Always perfectly parallel and centered :)

If i was EVER to buy a Ford, it'd be a Territory. Like you say Waltzie, they do have all the goods, they stop and start well, and the suspension is very comfortable for a SUV. The BF wagons that i drive feel like boats.
However, they are dead boring.
Nothing special about them.

I reverse into every parking spot. I'm always thinking about leaving again, especially at work. Comes from a long stretch as being a dodgy mofo 0- always reverse in.

Damn you, it's not even three here and I've just done another bus load of drunk women! Another one is a few minutes away! Another one is actually being done on the deck right now by my old man. Far out. Doesn't stop!

Just took a 1 owner manual MY02 B4 with 72k on the clock for a spin. Interesting as it felt a fair bit slower and doughier than my car, even being manual. Ping central too. But really really clean. Owned by a doctor and no dents and perfect interior. My mate is going to buy it. And the best bit, its white.
