I think of it as a divide, which is sad. But any extra division between me and people whom don't deem learning their own ******* language important can only be a good thing.

When I first got msn messenger, i frequented the intrewebz tlak but it didnt take me long to realise it could become a bad habit. As a 12 year old i valued the skill of being able to construct a decent sentence and spllign it correklee.
The occasional abbreviation doesnt hurt ('u', 'y', 'r', etc) especially when sending quick emails around the office but for it to become standard language is ridiculous!
