I don't know how I'd like being married in an Austin. But that's just me.

Our 'going away' car is an Austin Bug-eyed Sprite. Its currently in my father-in-law-to-be's factory being restored. Nothing wrong with Austins!

I'd go the Absolute Vintage just cause it looks more traditions (white), but either one looks great! :)

Id be happy with either one really. We've got a quote from 'Exclusive' and it is $1950 for the first 3 cars for a full day. We'll check them all out on Sat and get a quote for 'Absolute' and see how we go :)

Hahaha. I remember the blue screen days. You could swap a blue screen for like a half o, but a green screen 33 would only net a stick.

So I heard.

Hahaha, we'd roll people for stickos nik ! Shakedown !!

Morgan - I am sure if you ask nicely that some of the guys on here will lend their services for wedding cars / transport on the day ;)

Dad let me ride his 1300cc Yamaha Royal Star on the weekend, Around the "backyard"

Never been on/in anything that quick, For a big heavy bike it absolutely flys! The B4 has nothing on it

This is what it looks like:
http://www.totalmoto...luxea-small.jpg
But with aftermarket exhausts, Sounds so much like a harley its not funny

He's had it for 3 years, Since new, Ride's it only about once a month lol

Makes me wanna get a bike licence, Should i or shouldn't i?
Don't really wanna be a temporary aussie, Just for cruising, or should i get one when i'm older?

go to google images.

punch in

"ex-fix"

and view why you shouldn't ride a bike.

Nik.. this has come down in price a bit now, can be had for around the $49 per month mark... brother has it.. quite nice.

A mate went through two of them.

Swore black and blue he'll never go SE ever again.

And anything running windows on a portable device = EPIC FAIL

oooh thats gotta hurt!!!

As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;

"My eye is watering, this might be a bit hot"

I should just convert to single, right?

DUDE!!

They're ok.

IF YOU DON'T OWN ONE!

They're HEINOUS!

They're the main cars that give British Cars their UNRELIABLE reputation.

Personally, I wouldn't touch it with a 50 foot pole.

If something breaks, it doesn't look good on you...

He's restored a few Sprites in the past and worked on many others. The one he is restoring now has been under a tarp for 15 years, waiting for his son to get an interest in cars. 3 months until Stu gets his p's now and hopefully itll b on the road then. You dont have to like them. But i do and it will be alot of fun :)

Tom - If you want ur bike licence, go for it! Ill be going for mine when the time is right. My uncle died on one in a pretty nasty accident in the 70s but my dad rides and so does another uncle. Take all the courses you can to be the best rider you can.

There are plenty of defensive riding courses and the like out there to minimise accidents and maximise your knowledge and skills. Just dont be a dick head, and watch all the other dick heads out there and you'll be fine.

Dad has been riding on and off for 30 odd years and has never come off. He is currently on a Honda CBRXX Super Blackbird 1100 - aka the fastest production bike in the world ...until the Hayabusa came out!! Check this video of some maniac doing $3.00 on the autobarn.

I know I don't have to like them. I absolutely loathe them. You only need to listen to the horror stories from previous owners (normal people...not fanatics who are in an altered state of mind and rationalism) But thanks for reminding me the obvious. :) And motorbikes. Man. If only you fellas see half the shit I do. I don't even remember all the tales now. Ah well. Ride on boys. Keep me in work'n'shit

He's quite normal. And a previous owner. Of many Sprites and Minis. Thanks though :)

But thanks for reminding me the obvious.

Run ya. You in your bugeye britbox. versus. '74 Celica. Not that it'd beat it. (That goes without saying) I bet that something WILL fall off or WILL fail in fifty kilometers of driving it. Ugh. rust No boot. rust No door handles. 900cc. rust. british engineering (what an oxymoron!) rust.

Ey, bring on the bug-chop. lol
Of course you'll beat it!
Its not being built for speed!
A 948 is going into it until he gets some disk brakes. Then a 1275 will be an appropriate upgrade.
Yea they are making their way around all the rust spots! There are a fair few of them!
