Event was great ChrisJason! :D Still can't get the whiff of old leather out of my head :D

Pictures don't come close to doing justice. Both sides of the street are lined with these classic and vintage cars for almost a kilometer long, + side streets as well. You could spend the whole day there! Just heaven on Earth IMO :D

Cheers for the pics Shiv.
Nice.

FYI. Down here we have our British and European show coming up in a few weeks.

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

I'm glad that car show was free for you, Shiv. You wouldn't get me out of bed for half of those cars. British cars = ignorant British filth. Them Mercs = European Taxis. More common than penis. That is nothing nowhere near heaven on earth. You just need a greater exposure to true pedigree automobiles. Not just neat weekenders (that logcal people have disposed of a long time ago)

Fair enough.

I loved it though! :D

From an aesthetic point of view, to just stand back and admire these classics was such a treat. The owners had obviously put a shitload of time, money and effort into them and better yet - you could actually talk to them about it, unlike a motorshow where some saleperson rolls off some marketing terms.

Had a bit of everything - stylish Italians (Alfa's and Ferraris) to big old American barges with massive fins. They also had a few Japanese manufactures there. A row of Celicas represented the Toymods club. But my favourite was the E-Type Jag...oh so sexy!!

Shame your Aus Day was no good. Hope things pick up for ya :drinks:

Thanks mate. Things are still shit.

Not being depressive or anything, but my circumstances are truly on the bad side. Hopefully things will improve over the next couple of days. (pm me if you're inquisitive nature gets the better of you....)

But seriously shiv. you took photos of the shittest cars there. ok, that baby blue jag was orright.... but the others? rank.

And you mentioned of all these other hawt cars? And you didn't take photos of them?

Dude???

(echoing JASON's sentiments.)

I got there in the AM and starting taking photos. Then I realised just how long the strip of cars was and decided to just pick up the pace as I had a BBQ to go too + I wanted to catch the cricket match.

I did sneak this pic of some Toyotas toward the end...dunno if you know any of these peeps ?? Because obviously you Toyota people all know each other right :P

And whats the go with the Leggy's up pipes I been reading about? You got them back yet? Or at least the fingers of the guy whose suppose to be doing them for you in an envelope?

LOL.

That's a little better Shiv!

An older Crown (boring... they're still cheap and plentiful), a couple of RA28s, a TA22 i can see.... and the uber-fucking-rare RA25 GT JDM import!
And no... we don't all know each other. I'm struggling enough as it is keeping up with the Subaru forums, to even consider taking up active participation of the Toymods gang!
They are after all, a little elitist themselves, and well, I don't think my TA22 is of a standard....yet!

The up pipes have now been taken to another ceramic coater. At five times the price. But. Quality and turn-around should be immensely better.

I've been assured that the pipes will be ready by Friday, and hopefully, if all goes well, I'll have the Leggy up and running by the weekend.

And in case you're wondering....the Leg is the least of my issues at the moment.

The ToyMods gang seemed allrite. It was the Datsun-Z boys club of NSW or whatever the hell they're called that appeared elitist... And fingers crossed this other mob gets your work done on time. Theres a bit too much unease associated with any Friday estimated pick-up date

I'm pretty late to the game on all this - I used to listen to WeaponX a loooong time ago when he was doing international collaborations, and I remembered the name this morning whilst getting my music from the toob. This has some swearing, so NSFW people. If you've already seen it a hundred times, AWESOMEEEEEEEE!
