It was supposed to rain this morning here to break our 78 day no-rain streak. Our streak continues. No rain in sight.

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

For any of you guys that do any torrent downloading, Demonoid.com have opened up regristration, they dont do this very often, for ages a current member had to send you an invitation before you could join, and it is probably the best torrent download site around.

Ha the last thing i need to see is more rain, weather has been crap here since new years, spent the first 2 weeks of the year under heavy snow and its rained nearly every second day since then. Poor car did'nt get washed for nearly a month, it was so dirty i could barely see out the windows...

Nik I think I can pretty much say without a doubt that yes, you are the only one that does that. Now you have mentioned it though, I won't be able to stop doing it.

We get heaps of Irish workers through here. Had a couple from Claire (Sp?) through last year. Some of the hardest workers I've ever seen are from Ireland. Unfortunately our great leader has made working extensions almost impossible, and at the moment a working visa from Europe to Aus is rare as hens teeth. I can't understand a lot of them though, the really thick accents are quite hard to pick up I find. I also think it is amazing that in a country the size of a watermelon, you can have so many dialects that one person can drive for 2 hours and be picked up on straight away for being an out of towner! .... that's my understanding of it anyway? As for picturing the clover chomping and green suit... no. Sorry. The photos that Eric sent me via email are enough to fill the imagination.

True there are a lot of accents as you drive through different counties and there are some that i have problems understanding. The Clare accent is not to bad but the Cork and Kerry ones can be tough to pick up.

That's what I was trying to remember, Cork! I met two hotties from Cork out in Southern Cross (MIDDLE OF NOWHERE FOR REAL!) and me and my mate could barely understand a word they were saying. Still. We stayed for pints and then lunch, just for the conversation.

Last night I was watching the doco on the bush fires and the people down there seem to have a weird accent.
