well before I took my car to peices I decided to re-check the slave cylinder, noticed there was no travel at all.. could not push the piston back in the slave at all..... and it was hard up against the clutch fork, I shortened it a by about 5mm and so far I get smoother changes and clutch hasnt even looked like slipping yet. I am keeping my fingers well crossed and will deliver a further verdict after another 100Km of driving. Also dropped the oil from the engine/gearbox/diff while I had it on the hoist and cleaned the MAF and throttle body. Took the TMIC off and left it to sit upside down to drain some oil out of it (not too much come out thankfully). Tomorrow I'm going to check the plugs etc and put it on the scan tool to look for any fault codes etc.

BBQ RULES During the BBQ season, it is important to refresh your memory on the etiquette of this sublime outdoor cooking activity. When a man volunteers to do the BBQing the following chain of events are put into motion: Routine... (1) The woman buys the food. (2) The woman makes the salad, prepares the vegetables and makes dessert. (3) The woman prepares the meat for cooking, places it on a tray along with the necessary cooking utensils and sauces, and takes it to the man who is lounging beside the BBQ - beer in hand. (4) The woman remains outside the compulsory three metre exclusion zone where the exuberance of testosterone and other manly bonding activities can take place without the interference of the woman. Here comes the important part: (5) THE MAN PLACES THE MEAT ON THE BBQ. More routine... (6) The woman goes inside to organize the plates and cutlery. (7) The woman comes out to tell the man that the meat is looking great. He thanks her and asks if she will bring another beer while he flips the meat. Important again: (8) THE MAN TAKES THE MEAT OFF THE BBQ AND HANDS IT TO THE WOMAN. More routine... (9) The woman prepares the plates, salad, bread, utensils, napkins, sauces, and brings them to the table. (10) After eating, the woman clears the table and does the dishes. And most important of all: (11) Everyone PRAISES the MAN and THANKS HIM for a great meal. (12) The man asks the woman how she enjoyed "her night off" and, upon seeing her annoyed reaction, concludes that there is just no way pleasing some women! :drinks:

Will depend what phone it is. Go to www.gsmarena.com - aparently that has a guide to what phones can be used in different coutries. Just was asking the same question to a phone dealer as Kt is in the US at the moment. Did you just get a new phone though?!

Thanks, that website is pretty good :)

Looks as though getting a phone from the UK should work in Aus because I'm with Voda...

Yeh I did get a new phone after I lost my old one...but it looks like a scrotum and I hate it. Got a relo coming from London so want to get a phone from there as its a bit cheaper...

Is the clutch nearly worn out?
Does it have free play at the master?

All good now :D there was absolutely no frreplay at the slave so the clutch was partially being held on and especially as the pressure plate heated up it was slipping a bit. Since giving a bit of freeplay between the slave and fork everything works sweet, better clutch feel and most importantly no slipping. :D

Fine was for 67 in a 60 zone. I was daydreaming driving home after a 10hr day at work. Apparently if you have had no fines over a 3 year period and get done booked less than 10kms over the limit, you write a letter they have to retract the fine for a warning. It was on ACA a while back IIRC. Ive gotten off the last two like this and the wife has gotten of her last one so weve saved nearly $450. :D

My Mum had her 2010 Corolla Ascent delivered today...

Dec '09 build, so it qualified for their '09 run-out price and saved $3,000 off New 2010 pricing.
She went for Toyota after viewing some Impreza Hatches and Liberty's ('07-'08) but for the money felt more comfy in the Corolla.

$20,990 Drive away - 3yr. new car warranty, Fixed Service price of $120 for all services during the warranty period (6 scheduled). 12 Months Rego. Plus ANY after market/replacement parts purchased through the dealership are given at trade price - as a thank-you for buying from this particular dealership: Bought her some car mats while I was there; RRP=$94.05, and got them for $70.

Typical 1.8L Manual + VSC + T/C + 6-Speed Gearbox all standard.
Took some pics on the way home, here is the album:
Full Album

And here are a few of my favorite shots: (check out where the gear shift sits...)
