He's currently in Melbourne (RSLC National meet), i met him last night for about 10 seconds

Was on the way home tonight and saw a pair of orange dots in the distance. Slowed right down and had a close call with a fox!

Then no joke about a km down the road i see a fat kangaroo/wallaby jumping towards me! I skid to a halt and try to veer away (and stall it!) and being careful at the same time coz it was a bushy road with ditches on either side.
I know the best thing to do in the situation is to keep going but i wasnt going very fast to begin with plus i cant afford to fix a broken car if anything happened! No matter what i did, the roo was jumping in the same direction as me and we were going to collide no matter what...

Fortunately i did stop so no there was no damage. Just a dirty big mark where its tail slapped up against my door!

Sooooo, spent yesterday cruising with the RSLC boys down the Great ocean rd... Was a bit wet but that didn't stop anyone

to sum it up: a split fuel line after refilling on one of the RS's, was following behind him and thought, wow i must have spilt fuel on my feet, then pulled over luckily we were only going back to the carpark. got out and yeah, lucky there was no fire. a VERY quick run from Lorne out to near Apollo Bay with some sideways action. a few good photo's and video's a bit of top speed action out whoop whoop a bit of lawn mowing also out in whoop whoop. a bit more country driving and finally some more off the road paddock work. car is a mess now, brakes held up very nicely im surprised considering how much of a flogging i gave them! i LOVE my Toyo's! only when i came out of a a few wet hairpins with WOT at 4grand in 3rd did i get a bit of understeer. i also used a whole tank of gas in just over 300km's Morgsy, i must say thats one thing i hate about the roads inland, farking animals! atleast on the coast all you got to worry about is the occasional rock on the lane from the cliffs. unless the dolphins decide to start walking in from the sea

but close call mate. i bet it still made a damn big thud.

I am a lucky bastard! It was a damn big thud! Came out this morning and told the folks about it (happened at 130ish am) and by the size of it we've concluded it mustve been a roo.
