Wow it is pouring today. Our place has in the past proved well drained. But the water is starting to rise... Neighbours yard is mostly under water - she gets all our run offs ;) At home sick. Fire on. Relax. On a Friday. WIN

So, at the moment i have a Pod Filter in the Engine bay (been running it for about a week without the AFM, but the AFM adapter arrived in the post last night, so no more check engine light :D ) Anyway, if i extended the piping into the guard (as i should) would i still hear the "Ssshhhhhhhhhhh chhhh" as much? Or would it be quieter?

Good to hear! The sound is bloody amazing! and it sounds like there's an after market BOV.

I'll make up some piping + Silicon joiners on the weekend :D

Can i leave my AFM in the engine bay? Or should it be closer to the Pod?

I would mount it a similar distance from the throttle body as standard.

Do you have BOV (aft/mar)? I get 2 different bov noises, one from the "recirculating valve" that almost sounds like flutter, it goes CHCHCCHCHOO and the BOV that goes PPPPSSSSSSHHHHHHHHH.
