Hmmm. Found it. Oh wait. Found it. Oh wait... Theres lots under there!

Colours of wire casing should be consistent from the accessory to the plug yea? The only one i found that has the same colours in the one plug doesnt do anything to the dome light :(

There are millions of wires under there!

Unless you have an awesome manual that explains exactly where it is, it's pretty hard.

They are powered by an Arc Reactor embedded in the B4's chest.

LED footwell lighting

Said wire runs down drivers A pillar. remove Drivers side kickpanel and look for i think it is black with yellow stripe wire coming from above. this is what you want to tap into ;)

could be different color but im 99% sure it comes down the A Pillar in gen3.

I am meant to be doing this with the Gen2 but i been too lazy lol, what LED's did you get for the footwell?
I am using 2x 30cm strips of 3M stick on LED's

LED footwell lights are in. Ended up running a wire from the dome light to the A pillar, down the A pillar and underneath to the centre console. I now have an LED light strip in both footwells...but nothing turns off anymore?? When the switch is on 'DOOR' they are all on as if it was in the 'ON' position? Nothing fades off anymore?! They only way to get anything to turn off is to have it in the 'OFF' position. Thing is, i tested it all before i wired it all in, and it worked... What have i broken?

sounds like the LED's are passing current through from a ground and as such overriding the dimmer. make sure you tapped into the dimmer circuit not just +V but Gnd also as if you're tapping into the +v and just grounding it this will cause the circuit to be active all the time. remember. Subaru's (most cars actually except stupid renault and some other european cars) use negative switched circuits ;)
