Congrats mate. Anything lined up to take its place?

Yup I found myself a neat H6! I want to keep the details hush hush until I actually sell my car. The aerial of my car is completely rooted as of a few days ago. I managed to clip a low-hanging tree branch, so now the aerial is literally hanging off the side of my car, haha. Electronic antennas FTW!

Basic stuff first:
Tint
Alarm and immobiliser
Cargo barrier (to keep the dog from drooling over the rear seats)

Then the tasty stuff:
7" touch screen head unit
TV tuner
Rear cam

Not sure what else after that...

H6 plans? You either need to throw a LARGE chunk of change at it, or just tune and exhaust it.

Tune at NRG here in Rydalmere, Sydney would be very much considered. Likewise an exhaust system (that H6 engine is hugely quiet!). But I'll see how I go...

How do you like the drive? Everyone is so surprised when they drive my car.

How do you like the drive? Everyone is so surprised when they drive my car.

I'm a smooth operator Nik. I like to drive fast, but whilst doing so, everything is very linear and comfortable.

My observations so far is that whilst the H6 has 154KW compared to my RX's 115KW - the RX is faster in day to day driving. In point and shoot traffic, the torque is more easily accessible and the weight advantage is obvious. That said; once the H6 gets up to speed, its got more poke.

As we know - the H6 develops its power in the higher end of the rev range so I don't know how I'm going to respond to that. I'm not one to rev the tits out of my cars. Mostly because I'm an EJ25 driver and I don't want to blow a head gasket. But I'll come good...

Misread your question as "how do you drive" In answer to your question "How do I like THE drive" Very smooth...very quiet...very refined. A huge step up from the EJ25. Just that power is too high up in the rev range for my liking...

Sounds good mate. Im very intereted in this H6. If they came in manual i wouldve definitely gotten one! What colour is ur victim? I really need to redo my tint. Its peeling off everywhere looks so untidy. Good idea for a rear cam too - take out the key lock for the tailgate and install the camera so the lens sees through that hole. It never gets used coz if you have a key with you, you press a button and the tailgate unlocks. What headunit are you looking at? Im currently talking to Eonon to try and return mine.. useless piece of crap :P Was worth the money to try it but when the touch screen dies after 2 weeks, ipod control and USB doesnt work properly it doesnt look like such a good dealio :P

Will do. Only been test drives so far, so needed to drive with due respect.

Is yours an EZ30R with 180-190KW? Would be interesting to see how they compare....

Oh no, thats a shame. Hopefully they fix you up with a refund. Dealing with these eBay sellers can be tricky though....hope you know Engrish!

I'm looking at a Kenwood unit with Bluetooth and iPod compatibility. No GPS, because the Navman I have is better.

That idea for the rear cam is great - I didn't think of the rear key hole! Its fairly useless, so I may as well put it there.

Tint will be done by Rob. Google Rob + Hunters Hill and you'll see a list of car enthusiast forums come up. He's the man.

Nice and clear Music through Usb/Mp3/Aux run through the factory Mcintosh.

Also i have a super tiny usb on order, similar size to this: http://cgi.ebay.com....#ht_1520wt_1138
With 16gb storage :D

So you won't even know it's there.

How much does Rob charge? Ill be looking at standard 35% all over. May need a pro to take off the old tint on the rear window too so i dont screw up the demister and aerial etc.

Ive seen the rear camera in tailgate keyhole done somewhere before ill have to dig around and find it. Seems pretty neat though as you dont have some aftermaket thing hanging off that back of your car!

Haha i think my Engrish is pretty up to scratch. Fortunatly i bought it direct from their website so im actually getting somewhere with the process. English is terrible though...eggsampel:

Thankyou very much for your kindle patience.
I am sorry it still can not work. So it need to be repaired by us.

Mine is an EZ30R yes mate. Your homage to Alex on the display is a bit disconcerting Waltzie. Alex is on Fitzroy St? Some sort of in built stalking tracking device?

Dammmmmit! I shouldn't have taken a photo when i was on the hunt for Alex. I paid extra for the stalking feature.
