Sooooooo.

Called the Fair Trading dude this morning. Turns out he was actually trying to get in contact with the missus.

Long story short, he believes her Mazda, is the byproduct of a theft, replate, and rebirth system operating out of Victoria. Revs check shows no signs of that, but he seems to think that this Mazda was a stolen car, and had all the compliance plates changed, engine number changed, and re-registered as repairable write off, even though the records state none of the above.

Hectic stuff.

He is coming to meet with her today to find out details of the chick we bought it off and heaps of other sly ****.
 


I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

No idea Morgs. I bloody hope not. I have all the paperwork from the REVS check and everything, so hopefully thats something.

$15k down the drain would be shithouse.

I'm lead to believe the REVs check is your security. If you have the certificate, you'll be fine...

Someone really went to alot of effort with changing engine numbers, etc to make a quick buck

I put an sti sticker on my windscreen. And painted the calipers red. +5kw to my windscreen *******.

I stuck Sti stickers to my brake discs, and removed my callipers, they were slowing me down. +10kW for weight removal.
