LOL Indeed.. I slept till 11:30 today :( feeling a bit burnt out.


Nik, I did a full mash for shits and giggles (really didn't expect it to work given my lack of any equipment)

O.G. was 1.040 (pretty low but man I am surprised I got anything from the mash and dodgy as skillionairerules kind of sparge LOL)
Lag was about 16 hours which worried me a bit but she come good and is fermenting like a champ :D

24 hour lag is no dramas, what temp are you pitching at? Fermenting at? And how much did you pitch? Small batches are prone to hot/fast ferment so keep your peepers peeled.

Pitched at 20-21, she is still sitting at about that give or take a degree.

I just pitched a standard little US-05 Satchet, it's not a very high grav beer so should be enough :D

It really was just a skillionairerules around brew to see what would happen, used an esky I had laying about for mashing, only dropped about 3 degrees in the hour (67-65) It has me inspired to make something over the weekend, so that I can at least re-circ and sparge. I will come up with something :D

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money.
