Now do I buy a brand new splitter AUD$120 shipped or make another using thicker sheet metal as as mine is starting to wear out due to its flimsy design.

Thanks boys. Gave the struts n good regreasing... Went a bit crazy with it n pack more then enough of it in there... No sound at all! Ride is a lot firmer though then last time I had dropped... Boge fronts sti rears... Handles well though!

Now I just gotta sort out my front sway links n ball joints as they are noisy... Noticed the boots on them are busted when I was under there

I've got a creaking sound coming from my rear (hehe).

Is that what you were experiencing? Mine might need a re grease.

Youve always got a creaking sound coming from your rear end! :P

Mine wasnt a creak... It was more like this..

The rear is a bit harder than i was expecting... Much like my coilovers set medium in the lib...

Ive been doing some research on making some sort of IC spray kit (stock Sti ones arent cheap) and I came across this.. Seems like a good bit of kit for the price...

http://cgi.ebay.com....em=251006810672

team it up with one of these http://www.aquasteal...ure-switch.html

Or build my own like this:
http://www.wrx.com.a...php?f=6&t=62632

Or seeing as I have a wagon, my washer bottle has 2 pumps, I can re-route or tap into the one for the rear window and will have just have to flick the switch to activate. Just need fine misting jets

I was planning on doing this, but can't be bothered.

Could probably get the sprays from Subaru. I think they are pretty cheap. Or bunnings in the irrigation section :P

I think alexxx might have done it on his wrx.

Just buy the sti nozzles (theyre good quality) and raid the wreckers for some one way valves and pipework, than setup a cheap relay system with some 2nd hand sti switches and a hobbs switch for auto control

Cheap as chips, mines looks stock as and works off a manusl switch with a 3 second delay on...and an 8psi pressure switch for the auto

Eh, i just use it when moving after traffic or when hammering around to try and ward off heatsoak....made a smallish difference on the dyno

Sti's have them so they must work ;) i find myself spraying it a lot as the switch is in a trendy din mount right beside the shifter...so ya just extend a finger slightly to spray it for 3 seconds

Im actually gonna get another nozzle for the new tmic and splitter im building
