Noice! How did you secure the top down in the end?

Lined up the holes of the engine cover on the belt cover, drilled 2 holes and used some spare push-type retainers I had lying around.

Sits perfectly and hides my BOV

Doubt it's real CF. It's a guy in WA I believe. Don't have a link on me but the thread on OzFoz is called 'aisians 04 XT' or something.

I've just noticed a smell coming from my underpants.

Pretty sure carbon bonnets are a major defect anyway. CF doesn't bend, it just comes through the windscreen and chops your head off.

I would have gone to the kitchen, collected a brown bag, dropped my dacks, pinched off a loaf in said bag, done up dacks, stickytaped bag, placed bag in envelope, and mailed it right to your face for being such a tool.

It's ok, sometimes when we herp, we also derp.

Well my flimsy custom backyard IC splitter decided to detach itself from 2 of its mounting points a few weeks ago...

As you all know I was going to make another one anyway...

This time I went with 3mm Galvanised Steel instead of that flimsy aluminum...

Posted Image

Still needs some work obviously but it does its job for now until I can find some time to clean it up and paint it...

I also connected some misting jets for some extra cooling. Just tapped into the rear washer hose n use the rear wiper switch (temporary until I get another washer bottle/motor and an IC sprayer button)

Posted Image

These actually create a really fine mist not water droplets which is perfect to help evaporate heat quickly
