You guy's are all missing the point.

The way Nik has written it, BIMDAS should apply but when entering it into a computer or calculator, it doesn't do it as a formula, it does it as sequential bloody numbers.

50+50 =100
100x0 =0
0+1=1


=1

Perhaps Nik should have said computer not calculator then.
Why don't computers resolve the equation after the equals button is pressed?
Has anyone tried this on a Mac? Interesting to see if Mr Jobs was smarter than Mr Gates.

On another note, Nik have you seen Sandalford have started using plastic bottles for their wine? Freaked me out big time the other night. After about 8 pints I thought I'd become super strong and managed to bend a glass bottle.

My poo smells like dog biscuits.
 


I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

@bRETTLEZ: They are looking at the events market where glass is prohibited on entry. Yellowglen got most of the contracts though.

You'll find at the Cold Chisel concert, the packaging can't be glass, so they've got a theory behind the move.

LOL.. I understood what Nik was saying from the start, the computer may not have given the correct answer but none the less it is the answer he got and will continue to get using a computer.

@ Adam - Nik did call me. I did not however give in and agree he is awesome. I said he was a knob for needing a calculator in the first place, and laughed at him for being schooled by a youngen.

Besides the point wasn't " what answer does Niks computer give to this mathematical equation?" it was 50+50x0+1=?

The answer is 51. Regardless of how the outcome was achieved 1 is incorrect.
