There's a reason GW's are so cheap! Wouldnt touch one with a 10ft pole.

1 star ANCAP rating. There is a forum for them somewhere and they have endless problems

That's most likely why they offered a 6 year warranty... :) lol.

To the person who suggested the great wall, don't ever again ever offer some one advice lol.

Worst car ever made. They are horrible in every respect, they are also dangerous.

Alex, nice cars brew!!!

I would never, ever buy one, and absolutely hated driving the v240 work car.
And I do agree with you that they are absolutely dangerous/ugly/etc...
Well, my opinion anyway. :)
But ford rangers are too similar to the great walls. Too plastic and you don't feel comfortable driving them.

@Adam. go TRD hilux they look mad. or go turbo diesel landcruiser or troopie.

Hilix is too $$ for what it is. Mum had a mad turbo diesel cruiser, dunno why they replaced it with a petty one. Rangers are smaller, an inside doesn't look that plasticy. Dad said it towed really well, which is its main purpose anyway.

Yeah.

It is.

Never seen one in the flesh.

Comes with so many cool little factory features. Cloth interior. Ice box. The 12A looks so god damned tiny in the engine bay of the monstrous kinger.

Would be interesting to run one of these against a 202 powered kinger.

This one was minty fresh. They didn't sell very well, at double the price of the top of the line Mazdas of the day, they were a competitor for the Toyota Crown and other VIP like vehicles. Fuel crisis also killed these, and many were destroyed as they had become literally worthless.

Cool piece of Japanese Nostalgia none the less.

The original 12A looked tiny in my old mans series 3 RX7, I can only imagine how lost it would look in a kinger. From memory the 202 looked pretty spacious in the HZ.
There's a guy here in Perth that has a heavily worked SR20DET in a HZ. I think he even had a CA18 in it at one stage.

Nik/Brett; Drags yes?

Yes please Mr AMSoupfortopfueldrags. When do you want the moolah?

Shit, forgot to axe Lish.

Sounds like something AMS would say.

Sig worthy.

I can guarantee you that they would fair better in a crash than a GW though :P

Those things are nasty.

Had to give a kid a colostomy bag once, when he got into an argument with another kid who was rockin' one.

Wasn't pretty.

Cheering.

My day off today and took further inspection.. it appears when I hit the gutter the lower radiator hose must have just got pinched and we found a hole ripped in it where the coolant was pouring out. So radiator is fine, I just need a new lower hose.

Supercheap? Auto1? Repco?
