Crappy small pic, but this is a pic taken by Pisey on Caves road, through Nik...
Fark I've only seen it on my phone, those flames are so high! I haven't seen any footage of the area, but apparently people are just walking around saying 'It's all gone' - that was about fifteen minutes ago.
Luckily it seems noone was killed. It would be a miracle if there's no life lost over this.
Department of Environment Conservation are going to have to answer some pretty serious questions after they deal with the emergency.
Brewing beer today.

Good to hear you're safe Nik. Growing up on acreage, we've had a few close calls with fires and it's nothing I'd wish on anyone.
RX25SE: highest selling car on an open market still the '30s Bugatti Atlantique Royale that sold in the mid 80s in London for 34mil GBP?
Stay Safe Nikolo.
I am building gen1 Track hack car.. going to do silly things to it.. will be fun though haha just going to turbo the NA ej22 to start untill it goes boom
Um, failure is guaranteed. An EJ20G turbo motor can be had for a couple of hundred bucks now (as little as $400) so why bother with the 2.2 that will cost more than that to set up for turbo?

I can guarantee you that leaning in with 1 ciggie wont make it smell.
This.
I used to have a bong in my centre console 24/7 and you couldn't still smell it after a clean and an air out.

Why would you want to depreciate the value of a car you are trying to sell?

I did a butt load of research into leather cleaning and conditioning about 18 months ago.Brett - What do you recommend for cleaning and maintaining a leather interior?
What I found was that most modern leather auto upholstery has a clear laquer over it. Which means it should only need to be wiped down with a clean damp microfibre cloth. Maybe a soft bristled brush to get into all the texture and the seams. No conditioning is necessary as the clear prevents the conditioner getting through to the actually leather hide.
However I have also seen good documentation about a product called Leatherique. It's a two part product. The first part is applied to the leather and the car left, shut up, for 8 hours. This draws all the dirt and grime out of the leather and to the surface where it can be wiped off. The second part is a conditioner. It's pretty exy though. About $129 for a single application from memory.
I use Chemical Guys leather cleaner. It's pH neutral so it won't dry out the leather. I don't bother with the conditioner as I'm not convinced it makes that much difference, other than providing a nice leather smell. I use a soft shoe polishing brush to agitate heavily soiled leather, but most of the time I just use a microfibre cloth.
I find this a very good and affordable leather cleaner, and can transform dirty leather to looking like new again.
That took an age to type out on my phone.
Sig worthy.
