I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Exactly that.
Its all w@nk when used on street cars. Has benefits on racing cars. Primarily being able to maintain level tyre pressures I believe.
My Liberty had it when I bought the car. I knew this because it had "Nitrogen" stickers on each wheel
It started with NASCAR where they had two bladders in each tyre to prevent catastrophic blowouts that threw cars into the stands at +300km/h. V8 SC now use it too
Nitrogen is far more stable than air at constant high speeds meaning for people who do a lot of freeway driving there is some benefit - i ran it in my gen2 wagon and e30 when i was driving them to Crows Nest/Alexandria each day and found pressures were consistant. I never topped them up, unlike air which would require a psi or two adjustment every week.
Some people claim the lower temps nitrogen hits also improves ride comfort marginally and over long distances at constant speed (ie: syd to bris) will knock a small amount of fuel usage down. I dunno about that though.

Replaced AFM, car drives heaps better.
Until I give it a few snaps of 20psi. Then it wigs out for about a minute or so, and goes away.
