Bonnet scoop arrived this morning.

Before the purchase, I emailed the seller and asked how tall the gap is. His answer;

"hi mate the gap is stock size about 60mm this come of my rxy"

Description in the ad;

"GENUINE SUBARU IMPREZA
WRX BONNET SCOOP
ORIGINAL SUBARU 02 GDB
IN GOOD CONDITION!!
ALL CLIPS ARE GOOD
NO CRACKS OR CHIPS"

So far, I've measured the gap at 38mm which is the same size as my stock XT, plus there are half a dozen stone chips down to the plastic around the item.

I FEEL SOME NEG REPPING COMING HIS WAY.

Every now and again, one of the neighbours across the road, has a dog that goes absolutely mental.

Yeah, in fact, I did mention that to him. A week earlier when the parentals invited themselves over to mine for a cuppa.

He mentioned he used to own a landscaping/concreting/colourbond fencing company, and still has contacts in those industries.

I thought it would have been generalised chitchat rubbish you have when passing round the timtams.
