Looks like a good idea but appears to lift the seats by less than 10mm.

Do you feel this would make a difference?

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

I would probably go a little more then that, But the thread its from all the guys around my height said it made a fair difference. But i could make up some larger ones with dad or a lump of metal with some holes in it.
(Dad is a manual arts teacher at a school, access to plenty of shit)

I don't feel comfortable in a car that i cant see the bonnet of boot lid. Makes me really uncomfortable.

E: apparently the TJ Sport has a knob that slightly adjusts the height, So that plus the Washers should make a difference. (I was sitting in a TH Sport last night)

The higher you pack out the rails from the seat, the weaker the joint becomes.
You are altering the bending moment. (I think Adam will support this)

*And when you refer to yourself, the i is capital.
:P

Yes that would be the case, but there would have to be a way to do it without compromising the strength.

Maybe rather than altering the seat frame, you could look at modifing the cushion and squab. (the cushion is the bit you sit on and your back rests on the squab).

You could remove the fabric and have a trimmer add more padding to the cushion and squab then refit a modified cover in the same fabric.
This would place you higher in the seat and move you closer to the pedals.

or

get some of these.

I'm no engineer. But I started to do the course. And I support this!

Yes that would be the case, but there would have to be a way to do it without compromising the strength.

There would be, but it may be elaborate.

That being said, the force exerted on the seat may not actually be that bad. I dunno, I don't design cars. Just buildings, and mining equipment.
